There is no right or wrong way to grieve, there are healthy ways to cope with pain that, in time, can ease your sadness and help you come to terms with our loss, find new meaning, and move on with your life. Grief is a natural response to loss. It can be caused by divorce, loss of health, losing your job, miscarriage, retirement, death of a pet, a loved ones serious illness, loss of safety after a trauma and even loss of a friendship. It is important to seek support as soon as possible after you experience a loss to enable you to be able to move forward within your life. At tranquility counselling our counsellor can support you to acknowledge your pain, accept that grief can trigger many different and enexpected emotions and discuss strategies to support you to cope with the emotions.
